The  house,  „Cortijo“ , was recently  built  in typical  andalusian style and is part of an old olive-finca. It is located near ( 1½ km ) Frigiliana,  the famous "white village" , and can be reached easily on paved road. You'll be enchanted by the ambience. From the terrace You'll have a fantastic view over the valley to the coast. On very clear days you can even see the mountains of Africa!

Frigiliana has many small shops where you can buy bread, fresh fish, fruits and vegetables from the farmland around Frigiliana. There are also banks, a market once a week,  a public swimming bath  ( 25m lanes ) and many bars and restaurants.  To Nerja and the beaches  you'll need 10 - 15 min. by car. There is also a bus going from Frigiliana center to Nerja ( eight  times a day ). Nerja offers you beautiful beaches and bays, numerous bars and restaurants ( open all over the year ) and big supermarkets and , of course,  the famous caves of Maro.
